I feel blessed that I have been granted a good life. I feel undeserving of my good, good fortune and I am humbled by the lessons I have been taught. During the times I may have forgotten my Purpose, Allah has not once turned His back on me. Allahu Akbar. For that, I am humbled.

Alhamdulillah our Risik last Saturday went well. We look forward to the Engagement and Nikah and receptions later this year. Zafri and I would like to thank our families for their love and support during these happy times and for making everything so easy for us to begin this new phase in our lives. Insya-Allah we continue to be the subject of their prayers and blessings until our Big Day and for the rest of our lives.

I would personally like to thank my mothers – Mak, Makngah and Opah Ba’ee, for passing me their strength…I love you all.

To our dearest friends who have offered nothing but their unconditional friendship – thank you for your support and congratulatory wishes. We hope you welcome us into your lives as much as we have welcomed and look forward to welcoming you into ours.

And to Mohd. Zafri bin Baharuddin, my dear, dear friend of 9 long years but my beau of barely a month, and now my chosen Life Partner – thank you. Thank you for opening your heart to me. Thank you for finding your way into mine. I love you. Take a piece of this heart and put it in your pocket!

Midah's mum makes wicked meals, what can I say?! We had laksa johor this Raya at their place. It was nice seeing Eunice again.

Finally...I'm uploading my Raya pics after weeks of putting it off. This set is from the first day of Raya with my extended family the Azmi's and my Opah Ba'iee...at the Azmi's in Greenville, Kg. Saas. It's just the 8 of us most of the time...we entertain each other by watching my Pak Ngah/Opah/my Dad doze off in the middle of anything and Ummu A. getting beaten up by her big brother Afiq for no reason. Ha ha ha!

I can't even remember when these were taken. I seem to have lost track of time. Looked up my diary in March and saw that I took leave on the 24th. Midah would probably want to kill me for not being sure about her birth date. I'm pretty sure it's on this day itself.

Sue had her birthday too around the same time. Kak Am and Kak Arin joined us for the birthday dinner. Went back to Sue and Mat K's cool new apartment to cut the cake.
